Whilst many people could quite happily see Friday 13th far enough, we had a great experience last week on this supposedly unlucky day and number combo. By the end of play on Friday the 13th of January, Clyde Property West End had sold 13 homes within a seven day period. Each property received multiple viewings and enjoyed fantastic selling conditions, which is really encouraging for the start of the new year.
At the present time, we’re seeing incredibly high demand for all manner of property styles. In fact, current viewing figures are comparable with those typically witnessed during the height of springtime, which is generally regarded as the optimum time to sell. Last week, buyers were particularly interested in homes in the middle price range, with sale prices from £125,000 to £260,000.
With the current market being lower in stock but high in viewing numbers, now is a really good time to get things moving if you’re thinking of selling in 2017. By getting your home on the market now, you will most likely experience one of the very best sale prices for your property this year. As we move closer to spring, the supply of homes for sale will start to increase. Consequently, buyers will have a greater selection of properties to choose from, thus leading to lower levels of competition.
Currently, it is possible to achieve sales at full home report value within a mere two or three days of advertising. You may even see ‘Sold’ boards emblazoned with slogans such as “Sold in three days”, or such like. At Clyde Property, however, we know that the best sale prices are achieved by taking a more considered approach to selling and attracting a larger number of viewers. Nothing is left to chance or luck, and it is this approach that allows us to maintain an enviable reputation for achieving the very best sale prices available.
Let agreed in one day
We’re always incredibly effective at generating interest and a quick turnaround for lets and sales, without sacrificing on sale or rental value. However, we really impressed ourselves recently by agreeing a let at maximum rental value in just one day! It would be easy to let many properties within a day or two, but it’s not a straightforward task finding the perfect tenant and achieving the best rental price in such a short period of time.
