Shawlands is a popular, sought after area in the Southside of Glasgow which has lots to offer. Once upon a time the West End was seen as the sole place to be and spend your free time. Now though, there is far more to do on the South side of the Clyde than ever before. There is also ongoing improvements to the look of the area, such as the facelift of Kilmarnock Road where the pavements are being monoblocked, which is making Shawlands a more desirable place than ever to settle down and rent or buy a home.


If you have a young family and are thinking of buying a new home, the location can suddenly be very important when it comes to the school catchment area.
