What a great start to the year we’re having here in our Perth branch. Sales for 2017 have already reached double figures, and we continue to receive instructions to market new properties on a daily basis. In fact, we have just set three closing dates within the space of a week and are currently negotiating offers on a number of other residential properties in and around Perth. Whilst many people could quite happily see Friday 13th far enough, we had a great experience last week on this supposedly unlucky day and number combo. By the end of play on Friday the 13th of January, Clyde Property West End had sold 13 homes within a seven day period. Our Clyde Property branch in the historic, university city of Stirling is continuing to flourish as we navigate our way through January. Reportedly the most affordable UK city to live in, Stirling property currently has an overall average price of £162,616. Sales and lettings in our local branch have seen fantastic growth in the final two quarters of 2016. We experienced a 28% increase in sales of properties below £400,000 – a reported 9% rise across all price bands, and we achieved an average sale price of £203,000 – significantly higher than the regional average and 1% above Home Value reports.
